Seller: kaleesgma (4,616) 100%, Location: La Junta, Colorado, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 232791911974 (16) TINY CHOICE COLORFUL NEOLITHIC STONE BEADS. These beautiful prehistoric beads are very small, at only about 1/4" in diameter (4-6 mm) and only about 3/16" thick (3mm). How these beads were made by hand, I can't imagine. They are made of different types of stone material including agate, quartz & others, and are in very good condition with beautiful color. If you look closely at the holes you will see that many are conical in shape, indicative of their type of manufacture and ancient age. (These are not "type" photos. These are the actual beads you will receive.) Imagine the time it took to make each one of these little beauties by hand several thousand years ago. They were found in the Northern Sahara Desert of Africa and are from the Neolithic Era (New Stone Age) which dates back 3,500 - 8,000 years ago. These are great prehistoric collectible artifacts. (I offer 1-day shipping as a matter of course, and often ship the same day payment is received. I figure once you've paid for it, you own it, and might as well have it as soon as possible.) As with all of my artifacts, they are guaranteed authentic for life!SHIPPING of this item in the U.S. is $3.75. Shipping to Canada is $9.50. United Kingdom & Australia will be $14.75. I COMBINE SHIPPING, so if you are buying multiple items, please don't pay until I send you a COMBINED SHIPPING INVOICE. Additional items may cost very little, if anything, for shipping. GUARANTEE: If you are not satisfied with this item for any reason, return it undamaged within 60 days for full refund, less return shipping. COLORADO RESIDENTS will be charged 7.9% sales tax. The field of Sahara Neolithic Artifacts was expanded by the advent of GPS technology available to meteorite hunters in the Sahara Desert. Thousands of years ago North Africa was a temperate environment similar to our own Great Plains. Countless generations of Stone-Age Man lived, hunted, fought and died there, leaving behind their weapons and tools. Today, North Africa consists largely of the Sahara Desert, an inhospitable area almost the size of the United States. Constantly shifting sands and the ability to now safely travel off of established trade routes have expanded this fascinating field of study by making these artifacts available to scholars and collectors around the world. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These costs are the buyer's responsibility. If you are concerned about them, please check with your country's customs office prior to bidding. Also, I do not state merchandise values below sales price or mark items as "gifts." Thanks for your understanding. Condition: Very good condition with nice color, Era: Neolithic, Material: Stone, Item: Stone Beads, Origin: North Africa, Region: Western Sahara Desert, Age: Prehistoric
