As a priest of the Chapel Royal with that private income, Pastor Barham was not concerned with strenuous duties and enjoyed his leisure time instead writing his tongue and cheek stories. They were based on Read Legends and Mythology, primarily Kentish versions of folklore and poetry. He was gracious enough to share these precious stories and over 180 years later he is still a timeless favorite. The wonder of books as these is they are not only for your personal pleasure but just as they did in yesteryear, open them up and share them with your family reading time. I promise it will create a memory that your family will pass down for generations. Turn out his pockets!' said the knight. 'An't please you, my lord, I must say as how they was turned out afore, and the devil a rap 's left.' 'Then bury the blackguard!.' 'Please your lordship, he has been buried once.' 'Then bury him again! The seneschal bowed low as he left the room, and the Baron went on with his oysters. Scarcely ten dozen more had vanished when Periwinkle reappeared. 'An't please you, my lord, Father Fothergill says as how that it 's the Grinning Sailor, and he won't bury him anyhow.' 'Oh I he won't -- won't he?' said the Baron. Can it be wondered at that he called for his boots? Payment Payment is due at time of purchase with a Buy it Now purchase or within 48 hours of auction end.
