1905-1920 Beautiful Gilt Cauldon Ware Eng Brown/Westhead/Moore Biscuit Jar. This is a wonderful older piece made by Cauldon Potteries dating back as far as 1905 through 1920. Cauldon potteries of England used these particular makers marks between these above mentioned dates. The piece was made in England exclusively for Baily Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia, which was a highly exclusive retailer back in the early 1900's. Brown Westhead Moore and Company is the company associated with the design in Staffordshire England. The piece presents in very good to excellent antique condition with just some very minor gold loss around the top rim of the jar. Otherwise, it truly looks excellent with no flaws or defects. In a lovely soft pink, the biscuit jar is decorated in lots of metallic gold with heavy gilt around the jar handles and lid finial. Please take the time to view all the photos to appreciate all the design and condition details. Without the lid, it stands 5 and a 1/4 in tall, with a 3 and 3/4 in top opening, a measurement of 7 in from handle to handle, and a weight of 2 pounds. This is a marvelous piece from times long ago past, whose condition really is spectacular.
