This is an excellent Stereo card of a Chinese Junk under full sail in the Yellow Sea, China. It is from a Keystone “Tour of the World” 600 card set (the cards are numbered 1 to 1200) from the 1930's. The card is titled "Picturesque Chinese Junk under Full Sail on the Yellow Sea, Coast of Manchukuo in Distance" and is numbered 956 with a Keystone negative number of V23933. This card is in mint condition and measures 3 1/2" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. Unlike the vast majority of Keystone views, this card has two square images with the position number off to the left side rather than rounded tops with the number along the top in the middle. They often have at least a mild purple tint that I've never seen on any other views (in my photos they appear more reddish brown). This style is very Rare and I've only seen a few of these listed on eBay over the last 10 years and until I bought a couple of lots of about 50-100 views each, I'd only received one of these in the about 50,000 views I've bought on eBay. Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
