This is my very LAST one of these 1934 Comiskey Park season pass tickets. So the ticket for this particular auction will be removed from the 1934 season pass ticket book (& placed in a new sleeve and ticket-holder, complete with new STATS LABEL ) This is a RARE collectible...an unused 100% original NM/NM+ 1934 Chicago White Sox Comiskey Park Admission Ticket/ Season Pass Ticket from Babe Ruth's FINAL season with the New York Yankees! Wow!! On Sunday, July 22, 1934, the New York Yankees visited the Chicago White Sox for a scheduled doubleheader at old Comiskey Park in Chicago, IL. In game 1, Babe Ruth blasted career Home Run # 702 of 714 (3rd all time) and notched career RBI # 2,175 of 2,214 (2nd all time). Although not widely known, Babe Ruth is 2nd on MLB's All Time Career RBI List with 2,214 career RBIs (2nd only to Hank Aaron's 2,297 RBIs). And of course, Babe Ruth is 3rd on MLB's All Time HR List with 714 career HRs (Bonds has 762, Aaron 755). Once again, 1934 was Babe Ruth's FINAL season with the New York Yankees. In game 2 of this doubleheader, the Iron Horse Lou Gehrig was 3 for 4 at the plate with a 2B, 3B and 4 RBIs (RBI #'s 100, 101, 102 & 103 on the 1934 season). In so doing, Lou Gehrig notched his 9th out of an incredible MLB Record 13 consecutive 100-RBI seasons. Are you kidding me? Wow!! And remarkably, Lou Gehrig won the 1934 AL Triple Crown (.363/49 HRs/166 RBIs), but finished only 5th in AL MVP voting! Double Wow!! This 1934 Chicago White Sox Comiskey Park Season Pass Ticket is in beautiful NM/NM+ condition as it was removed from the 1934 Chicago White Sox Season Pass Ticket Book of Dr. SL Bloomberg (please see last few pics showing Dr. SL Bloomberg's 1934 Comiskey Park Season Ticket Book). This 1934 Season Pass Ticket Book is NOT included with this auction. This auction is for ONE (1) only "already-removed-from-book " 1934 Season Pass Ticket (as shown with STATs LABEL included). These American League Season Pass Ticket Books were first used starting in the 1910s & '20s, all the way into the '80s, and were commonly given to the press, owners, investors & other VIPs. Please also note that PSA or Beckett will authenticate, grade & slab this 1934 Comiskey Park Season Ticket for any date of game(s) played at Comiskey Park during the 1934 season. Finally, I included 2 pics of similar Season Pass Tickets (last 2 pics) that PSA authenticated for individual dated games (Aug 11, 1964 Hank Aaron passes Joe DiMaggio on MLB All Time HR List; and April 15, 1947 Jackie Robinson makes MLB Debut & breaks color barrier). So you see that PSA authenticated & slabbed these 2 separate Season Pass Tickets (last 2 pics) for specific dates & games, even tho there is no specific date (only the year) on the actual Season Pass itself. As an added BONUS, you get my custom STATS LABEL of exactly what happened in this game AND season included with this ticket. Please note that my laser-printed, hard-stock custom STATS LABEL is a removable overlay to memorialize & help remember Babe Ruth's historic 1934 FINAL season in baseball with the New York Yankees PAYMENT I accept PayPal.
