Seller: lamoretti (4,388) 100%, Location: Lexington, Massachusetts, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 263276423721 This adorable little Alexanderkin is "Charity" from the Americana Series of doll made by Madame Alexander circa 1961. She is a bent knee walker (BKW) doll and is rare as she was only made one year. The doll herself has green sleep eyes, great coloring with bright rosy cheeks. Her walking mechanism works as it should. Her wonderful outfit is so cute. Unfortunately it sustains some wear, tear and soiling. The left side of her white blouse was torn and received a few stitches. There is some lace trim missing on the left side of the neck. The left white sleeve has a hole as well. The worst damage was to the left blue puffed sleeve of the dress. It was torn with a hole and has noticeably been repaired. There is also soiling to the blue dress most notably to the back on the bottom ruffle portion as well as both red and white striped socks. All in all she still displays quite nicely. The left hair braid covers the repaired sleeve and the top of the socks are covered by the pantaloons. The dress is tagged. Please review all 12 pictures. The last three show the damaged areas and soiling. Please ask questions. Condition: Used, Features: Vintage, Type: Doll, Brand: Madame Alexander
