Item:1633185846711997 Dodge Ram Van. This is Mariah, big boned but beautiful through and through. She's been a true friend on some glorious adventures, but it's time for us to part ways.
She started off life as a 15 passenger church van, and I like to assume the church folks treated her well. Since then, I have pampered her like the princess she is, with regular oil changes, and a good washing now and then. I removed her entrails and replaced them with a whole new set of guts optimized for any form of weekend adventures, lunch naps, or full time van dwelling.
Some exciting features she has: -Custom fold out bed, memory foam mattress, and way too much storage underneath. -Custom cabinets with a variety of handles to suit any form of good or bad taste. -200w solar set-up, fully fused and wired through a 100ah battery, a Maxxfan Deluxe, 1000w Inverter, and led strand lights. -Custom spare tire rack with exterior storage, great for propane and smelly things. -Carbon Monoxide/Smoke detector. -Roll down, magnetic window curtains, and large cab curtain for maximum privacy and minimal light leak. -Polyiso R-6 insulation in the floor, walls and ceiling. -Vinyl flooring. -A nice, weird drawing my brother did. -Newish tires. -Newish brake pads, and front rotors. -New rear shocks. -Ice-cold AC, and face melting heat. -A cool flip out table in the center console. -A heart of gold.
Some imperfections: -Slight leak in the windshield seal. It's been like this since I bought the van but it honestly hasn't been an issue in Southern California or Arizona. When it does rain I just throw a towel on the dash and it all works out. -At the lawful age of 21 Mariah has taken up drinking, to the tune of 15 MPG (on a good day). -Her sound system is great if your favorites are limited to dental drill sounds and static. - I haven't had any issues with it, but the mechanic mentioned that t he battery is testing low. -Bits of rust here and there.
I'm switching the living situation up and won't really have a need for many van dwelling accessories so I will be including; a Yakima lockable bike rack, snow chains, 2-burner propane stove, cookware and silverware, and any other thing that I don't need and you might want.
She's smogged and ready to go, so give me a call and I'd love to take you on a tour and you can take her on a test drive. I have put a good bit of work into her, but she is an older vehicle, so feel free to have your mechanic inspect her.
I'm sad to see her go, but I truly hope you can use Mariah for her intended purpose and enjoy the freedom and lifestyle that she affords, she's been incredible for me and I really hope she is for you too.
