Penn Antique Restoration 28"x80"x1.75" Antique French Door w/8 Windows Beautiful , antique, French door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, OH. The door is made of solid Douglas Fir and is painted on both sides. The door has an impressive arrangement of 8 , true-divided windows with old, wavy glass. Hardware : The door does not come equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store). * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote. Uneven Height: The height of the door was unevenly cut by 1/4". The cut was most likely made to compensate for a warped floor or sagging foundation. We could cut the door to an even width/height, cut it narrower/shorter, or even build it up to be taller/wider--message us for a quote. Condition : The door is strong, s turdy and in great structural condition. It has the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. However, there are no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, or warp. The small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding. Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room towards the left and away from a room towards the right. We could modify the door to swing in the opposite direction--message us for a quote. Modification : Do you want to replace the glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs.
