Penn Antique Restoration 30"x84"x2" Antique French Door 15 Windows w/Wavy Glass Beautiful , antique, French door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern, OH. The door has a solid hardwood core covered in a 1/8" thick Oak veneer. The door is stained on both sides. Please don't think that "veneer" means inferior quality . Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture, these veneers are 1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door has an impressive arrangement of 15 , true-divided windows with old, wavy glass. Hardware : The door does not come equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit it (check out our eBay store). * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote. Condition : The door is strong, s turdy and in great structural condition. It has the typical scrapes, scratches, and small nail holes that you would expect to find on an old, used door. The door has a few small breaks in the veneer (see 4th photo). However, there are no broken or cracked joints, gouges, rot, or warp. The small blemishes they have will disappear or diminish drastically after stripping and sanding. A ll of the glass is intact and in great condition with only subtle scratches. Swing: The door is set up to swing into a room towards the left and away from a room towards the right. We could modify the door to swing in the opposite direction--message us for a quote. Modification : Do you want to replace the glass with wooden panels, screen/mesh, or something else? We could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs.
