This is an awesome Tyler & Dillon, ALBANY, New York STONEWARE SALT GLAZE JUG, Circa 1870 with Cobalt Blue tulip decoration and applied pig ear handles. It is 3 gallon. Measures 16" T x 12" W x 33" diameter, and weighs approx. 8 pounds. Very good+, stable condition - has a small nick on top of the rim and some color variations as shown above. Please carefully review the pictures as they are the best description of the condition. A rare Albany, NY piece for your collection!
NOTE: This crock is from a retired antique dealer's estate in east Texas. It was from his personal collection, along with several other similar crocks, which I will be listing very soon (or may have already listed). These have been in storage for at least 60 years, and just need a good home from someone who can truly appreciate their history and value. These are all high-end auction quality pieces - don't let them get away!
