ANTIQUE Victorian era ECRU SILK purple velvet TOP Ruffles LACE XXS doll clothes. *Original Victorian blouse *100% pure silk *Purple velvet trim *Elaborate sleeves *Full ruffles and lace trim *Corset stays *Museum quality Presented here is an absolutely gorgeous original Victorian blouse. This is 100% pure silk, ecru color with purple velvet ribbon trim. It has cascades of ruffles front and back with tiny narrow black velvet ribbons. The sleeves are fantastic with volumes of 3 1/2" ruffles down the shoulders and upper arms, narrow black velvet ribbons form fancy bows at the upper arm, then 1" ruffles with lace edges flow down the arms to cuffs finished with purple velvet petals. The top has stays inside with original hooks and eyes, it has padding in the center back, fully lined. The collar is stand-up purple velvet, matching the double rows at the hem and bows that cascade in the front. Overall it is in excellent antique condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, there is some damage to the fine silk on the shoulders, a few small splits, it should be handled with care as it is very old fine silk. This is very tiny, although it was made for a lady, it is shown on a child size mannequin, it would even fit a large doll or Lady Grace doll with little alteration.
