Seller: humint-2008 (275) 100%, Location: Forest Lake, Minnesota, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 253755866188 You don't get this kind of character following a recipe from Pinterest. You get this kind of character because you've been used and abused for decades. We call that "honest wear" in the business. This duck's body is cork. It is mounted to a piece of wood underneath. The head is a carved piece of wood that rotates so you can pose it the way you want. "Honest wear" includes some splits in the wood of the head due to drying out, wear to the paint (it's that bluish paint that was used eons ago), wear to the cork, a nail on the bottom that should be tacked back in to protect your shelf or furniture from scratches, minor separation between the head and body, etc. Take a look at the images (and use the zoom function that's available to you) to form your own conclusions about cosmetic condition. Your opinions take precedence over any subjective opinion of mine - including that this duck is really really neat and deserves a place on someone's ledge, shelf, or fireplace mantel. Just don't throw it back in the lake - it's been through enough already. As there's no maker's mark on this, and I am not the original owner and so can not attest to the age and origin of this decoy (it came from an estate auction here in Minnesota) - it is being sold “as-is” with regard to my use of the term vintage or antique. If I didn't think it was either - it wouldn't be sold here as such. But still.... Oh yeah - 11 1/2" long, 5 3/4" wide, 4 3/4" tall (body only). The head adds an additional 2 1/2" to both the height and length. Give this duck a home. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Thanks for looking. Internal code: r-ma-32-9...1640rg/3.1/12x12x11 Condition: The condition is as seen in the images. Please review images and read listing description in its entirety.
