Item:183126775113We are pleased to offer this lovely Ancient Apulian Prochus, Gnathian (Egnazia) South Italy, circa 340 BC, used for pouring wine with a slender spout and elegant handle. Central motif features an elegant ‘lady of fashion’ and bordering her bands of ornate scrolls, waves and petals. The neck has a nice ray pattern moving upward to a slender mouth and long arching handle.
