Antique 1876 AMERICAN PEERLESS WASHBOARD PRIMITIVE LAUNDRY WASHTUB RARE #08337

Antique 1878 American Washboard Co. Peerless Double Sided Washboard !!!RARE!!! Primitive Laundry Collectible! The Scrubbing Surface of the Peerless Washboard is Zinc & Two Sided.  Each Side has a different design.  One (1) Side looks almost like a Zipper Design.  The other side appears to be Squares with what appears to be a Dog Bone Design in between. Both Sides of the Soap Holder Surface is marked: "THE AMERICAN WASHBOARD CO.  PATENTED  TRADE  MARK  PEERLESS  NOV. 21, 1878  CLEVELAND, OHIO, U.S.A."  The Washboard would be a great addition to laundry room decor! Several Hard to Find Washboards are being listed at this time!  Combined shipping is offered whenever possible! Not for the perfectionist but for the lover of time worn shabby chic beauty! !!!SOLD AS IS!!!    Used condition.  There are the normal scruffs & scratches to the Peerless Washboard due to lots of use.  There is lots of soap residue due to use.  The Zinc Surface is missing a piece of zinc on the right side. The Zinc is split across the surface near the bottom.  The other side has six (6) spots with the zinc missing.  Both sides of the zinc are bowed.  The wording is faded.  Needs to be cleaned. Approximate Measurements:  12.25" x 22.5".
