Antique Adams style brass door handle set with a rare spider web design. The set came from an Upper East Side Manhattan townhouse that was gutted in the late 1990's. Includes two spider web egg-shaped handles, two spider web escutcheons with matching back plates(Escutcheons screw to back plates and hide screw heads.) and a Norwalk mortise lock with deadbolt. It needs a jamb plate to catch the latch, and a thumb latch for the privacy side to complete it. Something like:

It seems to be for a 1-3/4” thick door, but the handle stem can possibly be shortened for a thinner door.
In generally good condition with expected use wear, some small nicks and abrasions, and finish wear(Finish is a matte brass now, but may have been a polished brass when new.) One of the screw stems on one back plate has a little loss, but it still screws on well. Mortise face has a very slight bend. Lock has some rust inside. See photographs.
It has a maker's mark on the back of the escutcheons and back plates, but I do not know which maker manufactured these knobs. If anyone knows, please message me the maker. One of the escutcheons has “35 & 36” on the back also, and the back plates have “&36”
The closest one I found, but it is not nearly as nicely cast, is:
