Description This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side. It is made of walnut and is painted. The center section has an opening that can be used for a full length dressing mirror, shelving or pass through between rooms. This area originally had a recessed box with a mirror, a marble top vanity with porcelain sink and a small cabinet below. To either side are the closet areas each faced with a door, each has a beveled mirror in the middle with carved panels above and below. There is a drawer below each door. The 4 legs are fluted and topped with carved corbels. The pediments at the ends have Eastlake spoon carving, carved brackets and crown molding. The central pediment has carved brackets, carved flowers, spoon carving and ornate moldings. Magnificent piece. It measures 119.25 wide by 105 inches tall, center opening is 26.5 wide. It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck. This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or sides. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The door hinges were bent and might need to be replaced, that's why one of the doors isn't closing properly. The drawers have the faces only. There are chips and cracks to the base moldings and the moldings between the doors and drawers. Please look at the pictures carefully.
