Item:233339071028This auction is for a very fine Antique English Porcelain Black Transfer & Gilt Sugar Bowl, Dog & Swan, c. 1815 - 1830. This is a very fine pocelain sugar bowl with a wonderful transfer printed scene on each side of both the base and the lid. The main transfer shows a swan on one side of the sugar and a dog on the other side. The lid has a hyena on one side and a do on the other side. The transfer is in black with a gilt trim decoration. I offer this fine English porcelain sugar bowl with no reserve and a Buy It Now. SIZE: The sugar bowl is 4 5/8" H. x 4 1/8" W. x 6 3/16" L.. CONDITION: The overall condition is very good with a short tight hairline to one side of the base. The finial on top appears to be reglued. There are a couple of small chips to the flange on the base, that the lid sits on top of when in place. There is minimal loss to the enamel and gilt decoration.
