T his extremely stylish antique French Art Deco style silver plated coffee service includes a coffee pot, a cream pitcher and a sugar bowl, all authentic pieces from the actual Art Deco period. The handles, the finials and a part of the feet are wood. The interior of the sugar bowl and of the cream pitcher are lightly gilded. Each piece is marked with the maker’s marks of the “ Orfèvrerie Gallia ” consisting of the image of a rooster on a shield above the name “ Orfèvrerie Gallia ”. Each piece is also stamped with the serie’s number “5828”. The name Gallia was registered by Christofle to launch their “ Art Nouveau ” silver plate flatware collection. The prestigious grand hotel Le Ritz in Paris, as well as the mythic train, the Orient Express , were equipped with luxurious table settings of Gallia “ Art Nouveau ” and “ Art Deco ” flatware.  This service is in very good condition with the exception of faint scratches on the outside and light signs of wear on the  silverplating  on the edges of the faceting, all due to age and normal use. The handle is slightly loose but remains solidly attached and usable . This exquisite set will add an elegant “French” touch to your coffee table as well as a stylish addition to any collection. Items in Paris, France, are sent by registered mail via the French Post Office.

No questions asked return policy. Items must be returned in 14 business days. Item must be returned undamaged, in its original condition and packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner. Buyer pays return shipping and a 10% restocking fee .
