One of the pieces is stamped: 205 193 RN The other piece is tamped: RN 174 2062 Note: the 2 pieces look similar but they have slightly different design to them and slightly different size also. ***************************************************************************************** I am selling various lots of vintage / antique decorative brass pieces. At least I believe them to be brass......they certainly look like brass. All pieces appear to be for decorative purpose. Most do not have a hook or a way to hang them, some do have mounting style holes through them. I am grouping the pieces base on appearance alone, if they look similar or like they would go together. Some of the larger pieces I am selling individually. Most all pieces are stamped in the back. Most all stamps are as follows: AD #### or RL #### Perhaps an additional random (other than AD or RL) stamp on a piece or two. Most of the stamps on these pieces are RL and the next 4 digits appear to be a date. Example: "RL 1857". When AD is stamped the next 4 digits are somewhat random and do not appear to be a traditional date. Example "AD 2827" perhaps it is a date code? Thanks to a very old tag found on one of the pieces I have deduced that "RL" could very well be "Roussel & Laverlochere", a company in Paris. I have not been able to identify what the "AD" initials mean. The pieces appear to be very old and as such they are tarnished and or dirty. I have not attempted to clean them in any way. What you see in the pictures is how I found the pieces and how you will receive them. If there are any additional cosmetic or damage issue I will point those out in the listing (above this message).
