Beautiful old glazed ceramic or porcelain tile or trivet in green with a wreath, a few leaves and flower shapes. Very Art Nouveau or Arts & Craft style. It does make me think of a Celtic knot, too. The image is raised as Majolica would be. The back is marked "A. M. Pattern No. 522 England". From what I've read, if marked "England" and not " made in England'" then it is from the pre-1920 period, and I'm thinking this one is ca.1900. The tile is 6" x 6" x 5/16". Very good used condition; there is age appropriate crazing and a couple of the hairline crazing marks are longer and more obvious; also, the back has discoloration from use. Condition: good condition
