Antique handmade French lace trim .. Brussels Point de Gaze needle lace, featuring flowers and leaves; dotted or Point d'Esprit background. Two (2) pieces .. apx 3 7/8" wide, each piece is 42" long. Finished at the top and bottom, cut at the ends. Offered as found ~ from a wonderful collection of 19th century lace trims and accessories recently acquired from a Newport RI estate. Please note there are many small "pulls" or blemishes in the delicate background netting (s ee close-ups), otherwise very good, clean condition. E nlarge photos for detail.
