Description

This is a beautiful staircase that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.

It is made of oak and is painted.

We have the newel post, 1 section of railing with balusters that went from the 1st to 2nd floors and a 2nd floor hallway section.

The post has carved bullseyes at the top, a fluted shaft and 1/4 round columns at the corners. It is notched for the step. It is 47 inches tall, 7.75 square at the base and 6 square at the shaft.

The staircase run is 164 inches long or 13 feet 8 inches and has 24 balusters.

The hallway section is 98 long with 19 balusters and is 30 inches tall.

O verall it is in good condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique.  It could use a good cleaning. Please see the pictures carefully.

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
