Fabulous vintage embossed wall hanging plate measures 11" in diameter, features 2 fisherman. Finely detailed plate area is darker metal, and we believe that is bronze. Other than a small pin hole (manufacturing flaw) at back leg, there are no damages or losses, but the piece has not been polished for many years. Beautifully made and very heavy, the plate is not marked on the reverse but believe made on Korea. While we do not know when the piece was made, it is vintage or maybe antique. some research says was made from shell casings after Korean war. It has some kiln flaws, a hairline crack, and 2 gold kintsugi old repairs, one larger 1/2 x 1.25” , and the other is just a small vein of gold material to fill a crack. The hairline crack measures approximately 1” on the inside, it does not show on the outside. There are no rim or base chips.
