Seller: mad_stasher (2,892) 100%, Location: Belfast, New York, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 141965437776 Type: Window, Primary Material: Glass, Age: Unknown, Original/Reproduction: Original, Details: Offered is a very cool Architectural Glass Window that is very unusual as it is a Salesman Sample and a miniature window with some very unique qualities. The window is marked "Tempered Glass, ANSI Z97.1-1984, MG 16 CFR 1201CU SGCC 2020 1/8 U". It measures about 14 1/2" x 9". It appears to be double paned with a thick rubber or caulk like substance around the perimeter for insulation purposes. This particular window features many sections divided by Silver metal that has been apparently soldered at the joints. Each section has different characteristics. Some are beveled glass, some are frosted glass, and one section appears to have different "levels" on glass that gives the appearance of "rippling". The type of window is labeled "Athena" as indicated by the sticker on the window. This window weighs about 6 pounds. The only flaw I see on this window is a very light scratch in the upper right corner area that measures about 2 1/2". It is hardly noticeable. There is also a small, 1/8" chip on the upper left corner, but it is in the boarder area and very well could be covered by molding. I will be listing 5 more of these miniature windows, all with different characteristics, so be sure to check them out. A great, unusual Architectural Window Salesman Sample that is quite functional to add to your collection.
