• John Beswick of England,  one of the premier makers of   skillfully modelled figurines of the last century.

DESCRIPTION:

• We are offering this delightful, exquisitely modelled and highly collectable DISNEY figurine of OWL  from WINNIE THE POOH.
• This  version has the gold Beswick backstamp, associated with earlier models.
• It was modelled by Albert Hallam one of Beswick's most prolific modelers.
• It is 3" tall  ( 7.5 cm ) and weighs approximately 2  ounces ( 50g) unpacked.
•  The 2003 book value for this figurine/ backstamp combination is $125 US, $175 Cdn ( 75  Pounds), so you can be sure that you are getting a bargain at the present price. ( Re: Charlton Storybook Figurines  7th Ed  (2003 ) by Jean Dale ).

CONDITION:

• Perfect. No chips, cracks, crazing or signs of damage.

AGE:

•  34-42 years old.
• It was introduced in 1968, only 2 years after Disney's Winnie the Pooh was released.  It was one of the first series of 6 Winnie the Pooh figurines.It remained in production until 1990 and with this backstamp until 1976.
