Seller: ladybugnonna ✉️ (981) 100%, Location: Clarita, Oklahoma, US, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 182615910189 Vintage Biscuit Jar The House of Webster Ceramics-Eastland TX 60's-70's. This really is a pretty biscuit jar. The blue flowers are very bright and colorful and there is gilding around the mouth edge and dots of gold on handles, (front and back). I purchased it over 25 years ago at the Greenwood Flea Market in Greenwood, La. It has a beautiful blue & lavender floral design on sides of jar. On the bottom of jar in 4th photo is a stamp which reads:   (THE HOUSE OF WEBSTER CERAMICS) Eastland, Texas. The jar with the lid weighs 1 lb. 12 oz. It is 7" tall to tip of lid and 6.5 " wide at the widest part. It is 4 inches in diameter at the mouth of jar. There is a hair-line crack down the side behind the right handle, (photo 3). It has been there since I purchased it. I have used it to keep cookies in and it has been washed carefully and still remains intact to this day. It is such a unique and pretty piece, I thought someone may want to add it to a collection or just for vintage décor. Thanks for stopping by and check back soon to see what else I've listed.
