Burmese Cinnabar Lacquer Betel Nut Box Early (Kun-It) These cylindrical boxes are made of lacquered woven bamboo and contains a fitted tray inside to hold the various items necessary to make quids of betel. The main lacquer is a deep cinnabar color. The boxes are covered with intricate designs of dancers and deities and beautiful scroll work on the edges and filigree details throughout. * cinnabar lequar color.* Hand crafted * Hand Painted* Burmese Betel nut Box * Not signed * Not Marked* Circa Early 1900. This box; 7.0" tall x 7.3" dia. all side . Max. Approx. 2 trays - 6.9" all side- 1.3" depth, 7.0" all side - 2.0" dept Unpacked Weight- 848 grams .TRAY HAS GREEN+RED+BLACK DESIGNED OVER HANGING LIDS. Inside lid -full wall container does have painting on its wall.Photo-8 Condition- Over all in very good condition under its use and age. Mild surface crack lines , fading and edge damage. Nicely fitted lid. I have uploaded lot of photo's to share its condition.
