China, Japanese occupation - Last Mengkiang  stamps

These stamps were never issued because the Sino-Japanese War ended

before they could be put on sale. Printed in Changchun in 1945 for the

Mengkiang (Mengjiang ，蒙疆 ) government, the vertical inscriptions on both sides are in

Mongolian script. The paper, printing, centering, perforation and gum were of inferior quality.
