A superb and unique masterwork of Glass Art, created in the early to mid 1900's by the legendary "Bohemian Glassworks-Czechoslovakia" ateliers.

Highly limited "Eternal Persia" series, artfully realized in blown glass, hand painted flowers wreaths on 24Kt Gold, sumptuously embellished with islamic motiffs and vignette portrait of Shah Nasser Al-Din of the Qajar dinasty (1848-1896).

Luster lamps were designed to add color and sparkle to the often drab, upscale interior and were first made in Europe and America during the past centuries. Early lusters were not a form of lighting, but decorative pieces in clear or translucent glass that often was colored.

In impeccable condition, complete, with updated electrics, in perfect working order.
