I am happy to sell my MT-1X, 7 cell parachutes (known as the MC-4 when combined). They are made by Para-Flight Inc in November 2005. I have also included the 485 page manual describes how to install the new lines you need to make this expert canopy airworthy. The canopies are of an amazing quality of manufacturing and can be used for a variety of applications. Please refer to the technical information below for the flight characteristics.
The information below is for education and discusses parts not included in auction.
The MC-4 is the standard military freefall parachute system of the U.S. Army Special Forces, Delta Forces and Navy Seals and has demonstrated its superior reliability during military operations around the world. The MC-4 is designed to meet the full range of military freefall parachute operations, including HALO (High Altitude, Low Opening) and HAHO (High Altitude, High Opening) conducted by the most sophisticated of military parachute organizations. The MC-4 system is built around a 370 sq. ft. rectangular gliding canopy design used for both the main and reserve canopies. The MC-4 is completely compatible with the Irvin FF-2 automatic ripcord release, as well as other automatic ripcord releases qualified for use by the U.S. Army, for assured activation of the main parachute. The MC-4 features the proven MT-1X 7-cell, 370 sq. ft. spanwise constructed main and reserve canopies.
