Regarding battery installation: Only compatible with DeWalt 20v MAX XR  (Not B&D ) type batteries , providing power for Hercules 20V tools . 【 Non-Charging Functionality 】: This adapter is exclusively intended for upgrading tool capabilities and does not support charging for DeWalt  batteries. 【 Compatibility Warning 】: Not compatible with Bauer and DeWalt 20V tools due to different configurations. The adapter is only compatible with DeWalt 20v MAX XR batteries and is not suitable for Black and Decker, Craftsman batteries. 【 Discharge Protection 】:  Built-in Battery Management System (BMS) with low voltage cutoff protection.
