It was issued as loose plates. Parts I-III are offered here. Each part with 4 lithographs (total 12). The original hardback cover of part I and the original paper cover of part III are included. Today you will find only a few remaining complete (?) collections of plates / lithographs in public libraries. I dont know of an official selling record in the past decades. Each lithograph depicts pattern of old middle ages fabrics, which were collected and preserved by Mr Bock. He was an art historian. The lithographs reflect the striation of the fabric very well. Full sheet size: 44,50 cm x 63,00 cm (17,52 x 24,80 inches). Illustration size: 34,70 x 45,70 cm (13,66 x 17,99 inches). The lithograph shows some edge compressions and may be some finger stains on the plain part are visible. Overall very clean. The colours are fresh and vivid.
