Seller: ericstiques2kmz (390) 100%, Location: Los Angeles, California, Ships to: US & many other countries, Item: 232325732762 This is a really nice craftsman style door pull made by Sergeant it measures in at 3.5" x 14" long . This handle came out of a craftsman style home and was on the inside of the garage door. The doors were big doors that had been weathered from time and we're literally falling apart . The only thing that could be saved was the handle and a slide bolt. You can tell that this handle was made for a weight-bearing door . The handle is in overall good condition my favorite part is the patina. I love how the old hardware especially the craftsman style ends up with a certain patina finish to it only time can offer and this handle has that. You can tell the bottom part of the handle was used more so that was probably the point where they would grab onto the handle to open that big door. I didn't notice any major damage there are no breaks or repairs I did notice a slight bend in the back plate I'm not sure it's possible it could be made of bronze or brass. I did notice that it's signed sergeant on the back and also stamped 3.5 x 14 which is the measurements of the handle . I love this particular company because it goes back as far as the 1800s . I tried to capture all details in photos! All items are salvaged by Eric's Architectural Salvage located at 1540 W. 6th St. Los Angeles, CA 90017.
