Item:182306003752Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a gorgeous early 20th Century antique English Sterling Silver 10.75" footed salver/tray by Edward Bernard & Sons, c. 1916. This lovely tray has a wide pie crust scalloped edge with six shell shaped decorative features, one above each foot and the other three are equally spaced in between. The tray sits on three ornately scrolled feet. Measures 1" high and 10 3/4" in diameter. Weighs 575 grams. This lovely tray is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no dents, dings or repairs. There are some normal no-harm surface scratches on the top of the tray and several dark spots in one area where the silver is worn (see photos). The tray basically reflects minor wear from normal use and age. The silver is marked with English hallmarks for "London, Sterling", date letter for 1916 with maker's trademark stamp for Edward Bernard & Sons who were very desirable English silversmiths of this period. Hallmark stamps are clear and readily legible. Tray also has "747" stamped above hallmarks.
