FOUR FRENCH 19th CENTURY LARGE BRASS LOOPED CURTAIN TIE BACKS The tie backs are shaped as a brass loop with leaf ornate ends in a slight Rococo Revival style. The curtains drape over the tie back loop, probably best suited to larger, heavier curtains. Left as found, they have a dark brown patination to the brass, with a hint of the original gilding in recessed areas, the back plates are quite dirty as they were never handled. Might need a clean, but have a good antique feel as is. Measurements: length of loop is 33 cm (with backplate upright 37 cm in total), length of backplate 9 cm, width of loop 19cm across.
