FRENCH TEARDROP CHANDELIER Antique 6 Light PINK CRYSTAL FLOWER Gorgeous Fixture!
French Antique Tear Drop 6-Light Chandelier. A not-so-recent estate find, we are finally getting this spectacular piece listed here on eBay, and letting it get the attention it deserves. The foundation is a 6-light antique French Chandelier with clear crystal bowls underneath each "faux candle" light. Then, transforming the Chandelier from "just great" to spectacular, we find hanging Pink Tear Drop Crystals, and, even better, scattered hanging Pink Crystal Flowers! Why stop there? There are also hanging Pink Crystals of a more conventional shape, hanging below the bowls under the "faux candles". This is a fixture that makes a beautiful visual statement, and the Pink colored crystal has a unique delicate charm not usually seen today.
The Chandelier measures about 30 inches high with a 16 inch circular diameter measured at its widest point. It weighs 11-1/2 pounds.
The first section of pictures (#1 to 6) shows the Chandelier currently attached to the ceiling in one of our store showrooms, with the long white cord running through a white chain, and plugged into one of the ceiling outlets. It is currently set up to use 110-120 Volts AC service as found in North America. In the first section, we've taken pictures from different angles, and include one that shows the fixture lit up (although one of the bulbs is burned out). The bulbs are a small base decorative type, but we don't have the spec handy.
The second group of pictures (#7 to 11) shows some close up details, taken prior to hanging it. We were able to get much closer, and much better shots, with it on the ground. At the very end is a single picture that shows a portion of the cord (after hanging the fixture). The cord has an inline switch, for use when connecting it to a power socket that is not switched (i.e. always on). In that case, you would be able to use the switch on the cord to turn it off and on.
Because of the many delicate features on the Chandelier, we have decided to have this item professionally packed, and have included a charge for that service built in to our shipping charge. The company we use has the materials and expertise to deal with any technically complex packing job, and we've never had an item damaged in transit, when they have packed it.
Pickup is available from our El Segundo store at no charge if you are located in the area. We can also hand the Chandelier off to your own shipper, if you wish to make alternate arrangements and handle the details yourself.
Condition: Very good. The Chandelier was hung and turned on without difficulty after connecting it to a power source. Metal surfaces show an aged patina, and various minor age appropriate wear is found and should be expected. Looking at some of the crystal attachment points, we suspect a few pieces are missing although it is substantially complete as shown. After hanging, we found two additional Pink Teardrops plus one Pink Flower that had become separated from the main fixture, and those pieces will be included for your use. All pictures show the actual Chandelier you will receive.
