(Cold Stratify Seeds 8 weeks "FIRST" before sowing Seeds). >>Place 10-20 seeds on top of damp peat moss mixed 50/50 with small perlite in 4-inch pot. Make sure it's real perlite with no additives. Cover pot/pots and place in fridge for 8 weeks. (PICTURE). Then after 8 weeks of cold stratifying in fridge bring out pot/pots and place them in proper growing conditions to germinate. Which can take up to another 2 months<<.

We are a "Specialty Seed Shop". Our Seeds NEED to be grown in "PROPER" conditions (Humidity (70-100% AT ALL TIMES)/Temperature (23-30C AT ALL TIMES). Usually grown in a controlled area. (Indoor Greenhouse-Fish Tank-Terrarium etc with Grow Lights).(MANY Kinds of our Seeds can take months to germinate). Know what you're doing "FIRST, BEFORE BUYING" from us. If you "DO NOT" have these Proper Conditions and Set Up to grow our seeds, (Following Our Recommended Growing instructions), then PLEASE don't buy from us.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:

Sarracenia seeds need to be cold stratified for 2 months FIRST before sowing for optimal germination.     (Read up on Google if you don't know what Cold stratification is).  The best soil for sowing CP seed is pure peat moss, often mixed with a little silica sand and perlite. Seeds should be sown on the surface of the moist planting medium and maintained in a humid environment (RH, relative humidity, from 60 to 100%). Sow seeds on top of your soil mix or they could also be gently pressed into the growing medium. Carnivorous plants germinate with bright light. The soil should be kept moist at all times (bottom watering is best), using only Rain or RO water. Cover pots/trays with  saran wrap with many toothpick holes or a  clear dome cover with a Nickel sized hole in top for air circulation so you don't get mold. After the seed starts germinating, slowly harden the young seedlings by successive increases in ventilation. Allow the humidity to decrease to approximately 60 - 80%. Most CP germinate within a temperature range of 17 °C - 30 °C. Indirect or filtered sunlight is best.   ALL Sarracenia can be started indoors at any time of the year. The seedlings CAN miss their first year winter dormancy.

ALSO look up more growing info on Google because you might need to adjust do to your location and conditions.

((RECOMMENDED))-(G erminate seeds indoors in a  controlled   environment with  Florescent  or LED Lighting.  (IE.. Terrarium, Fish tank, indoor greenhouse etc.).  Something  that you can get the proper Temp/Humidity to  germinate .) More info on Google about that.  (DO NOT put seeds on a windowsill . That doesn't always work. Temperature and  Humidity fluctuate to much .)
