You are viewing this nice still life painting.  I would guess it's a British painting which was painted in the late 19th or early 20th century.  It is a watercolour on paper of a still life with flowers in a jug with a parakeet figurine.  There are two paper labels verso one of which is probably the artist's name - possibly E.E. Mason?  It's a strong composition with vibrant colours.  The gilded wood frame measures about 33 by 28 centimeters.  The painting and frame are in good condition with some staining and yellowing to the paper; minor wear and tear to the frame.  I will be shipping the painting with its original glass.
