The faces are in very good condition but as often seen on tiles of this age, there are slight nibbles at the edges and corners of some of the tiles (these are normally hidden when set into the cast iron fireplace frames). Good overall condition of the tile set is commensurate with age and previous use (as per photographs). The colours are still deep and bright. An interesting set of stylish tiles.
