These spurs were found in Texas and have an engraved wheat or vine design on the side of each heel band. They have shorter shanks and simple star-shaped rowels. The spurs are still on their original leathers (boot straps), but one has a small section that has come unattached (it is however still present). VINTAGE: Circa 1860s-1870s. SIZE: Approximately 6” in length and 3-1/8” in width and 1-1/2” in height each (not including strap length). CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Iron, leather. ATTACHMENT: Straps with buckles. MARKINGS: None. ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Western collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months.
