Hornby Dublo Neverwazza - 4612 Bogie Timber Wagon (hand finished replica). Here we have a nice Hornby Dublo Neverwazza in the form of a bogie timber wagon. A sample was produced in 1962 using the standard super detail coach chassis and it was given the catalogue number of 4612. It was presented at the 1962 Trade Toy Fair but as it did not meet with a favourable response from the trade it was never put into production. A picture of the sample is shown on page 322 of Michael Foster’s book on Hornby Dublo and this replica, produced by the proprietor of Copycat Models is based on that picture. The chassis was taken from a donor Super Detail Coach and the grey plastic body was fabricated from plastic sheet, the stanchions are white metal castings of the makers own design, and the model has been finished with 3 imitation wooden logs.
