Ptolemaic Period, Circa 305-30 BC For offer today we present a wonderful, authentic Ancient Egyptian faience amulet of the important mother goddess Isis dating to the Ptolemaic Period. Very fine details, fully intact, with smooth blue-green glaze. The back spine has the original hole pierced in antiquity which would have been used for stringing the amulet to a mummy. This Isis amulet would fit well into the collection of a discriminating antiquities collector. The goddess stands looking straight ahead with long, slender body and her hands at her sides. Great details including her striated hair, feet and hands visible. Beautiful, rich turquoise blue color. A very desirable example of the type which is not commonly found in such fine condition.
