Description From a Fort Lauderdale doctors estate I have up a 12 1/2” hand painted magnificent Japanese satsuma Immortals Thousand Faces vase that has a lot of embellished gold paint both in relief and flat gold. It features large and small hammered gold beaded frames around many of the immortals featured on it. The top has a sponged gold lip and a Greek Key Gold fret pattern which is repeated on the bottom.  The very top has two Shumaza clan gold crosses. Size is 12 ½”T 28 cm with about a 5 ½” diameter This fabulous piece of satsuma art was made by Kinkozan or an artist in his studio shop. The back bottom has a Kinkozan character marks signature.   It was made during the Meiji period dating it between 1868 and 1912. In very good condition a very small amount of paint wear as you can see in my pictures and no chips cracks or repairs.  A fabulous display satsuma vase for your home or office.
