LARGE ANTIQUE 18th CENTURY DUTCH DELFT FAIENCE TIN GLAZED FLORAL CHARGER PLATE Description: An attractive antique Dutch Delft pottery charger plate, dating to the second half of the 18th Century The blue and white plate is decorated in a vibrant cobalt blue with a well balanced floral design around a central rose, the plate rim with leaves, flowers and scrolling tendrils. The underside is undecorated, with three stilt marks to the outer rim, and an old collectors label with the number '13'. Dimensions: Diameter : 30 cm or 11 3/4 inches Unpackaged Weight: 900 grams Condition: In good antique condition, without restoration, just some minor areas of overpainted to the edges. Expected surface wear and fritting to the plate rim all commensurate with substantial age. A fine hairline from the edge of the plate rim, mainly visible from the underside.
