Originated in the northwestern part of France, the Maine-Anjou cattle breed, which coloring is a very dark red with white markings on the body, is one of the largest in France. Reputed for their easy fattening and milk production, these cattle were imported to Canada in 1969, then introduced to the United States. Rather large, the plaque measures 9¼” by 7¾” at its widest. After many years spent outdoors, it has earned a lovely green weathered patina but remains in excellent condition considering its advanced age, with no breakage or crackling whatsoever. It is a perfect piece to lend an authentic French touch to both inside home or outside in your garden. Shipping information Item located in FRANCE.
