About ScarabsI have been dealing with scarabs and studying them for many years.According to my research, in nature, when a beetle dies, eventually only the carapace remains. This carapace, framing the animal, is like the framework of an organization – no matter what was inside, the carapace remains the same. The Egyptians used scarabs (modeled after beetles) as a symbol for organization. A man which was in charge of the harvest, water or anything at all owned a scarab beetle, and would use it in various occasions - usually as a stamp. For example, after giving away a sealed bag of grain from his field, he would tie it with a rope and seal it with wax, and then stamp his scarab on it. That way, the receiver of the bag would be able to know if the bag was opened on the way without permission. If you'd like to hear more details or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
