ABOUT
Lorgnettes are often referred to as “opera glasses” however that’s a misnomer. They were cultivated in the Victorian age by the aristocrats as fashionable magnifying glasses. The handles could be quite long and ornate but these lorgnettes are more refined and versitile and would be suitable for either man or woman.
