These books require no electricity to read. They can be read by the light of day or by a candle at night. No batteries required. The pages can be marked so that you don't have to scroll back to re-read something you may have missed. In some cases, this is their only format. Many older books are not formatted for modern reading devices. You can loan or give your friends the books without having to give up your electronic device. If the books are formatted for electronic devices, most times they are cheaper to purchase used. They are especially easy to give as a gift, especially an elderly relative or friend who has no use for modern electronics. Please enjoy these books and enjoy turning real pages to get to the end of the story. If you are an international buyer, be aware that you may have to pay a customs fee on the books when they arrive. Custom fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Customs forms are filled out accurately and as merchandise.

Although the books are stored in a non-smoking environment, they are picked up at a lot of different places. I have no idea what books have or have not been subject to smoking unless the odor is strong enough at arms length to make me notice. Any books with extreme wear or damage will be noted in the listing for that book.

If you are purchasing more than one listing or auction, please wait to be invoiced before paying, to receive the lower rate. Because of higher gas prices, at times I will be away from the computer for a day or two. Please be patient if you're waiting for an invoice or to have a question answered.

It is very important that the auction winners notify me if their payment will be delayed a few days. I'll send a second invoice by 5-7 days after the auction ends and start the process of retrieving my final value fees after 10 days if no communication is received.
