Lot of 3 Antique Putz German Lead Deer Buck Stag Painted Metal Reindeer
Fresh from a local estate here are three antique German deer, attributed to Putz. One measures 5” tall, another 4 ¼” tall, and the one laying down measures 3 1/4" tall. All three are in very good condition, finely cast with no broken parts, no holes, and having a great patina with age-appropriate paint wear. All three deer have cast lead antlers which are intact and somewhat bendable. The smallest deer is marked “GERMANY” on the back of a hind leg and the tallest deer is marked "GERMANY" on his belly. We purchased a collection of these German reindeer, all different sizes and poses, as shown in the last photo, and we will be listing them in small lots over the next few weeks.
