ND but minted between 1622- 1628 .

These type of coins have circulated in the American Spanish colonies and were of legal currency in the Colonies & in the US until the Civil War, in the 19th century.

Mint: Potosi (as "Alto Perú").

Rare type, the coin has:

  * Typical lions (Passant, almost greyhounds) on the Rv.

  * 5 lilly flower in the royal coat of arms Ov.

  * The coat of arms of the Ov has some quarters (head or centrals) empty. 

  * Value in Roman numerals (VIIIº) on Ov

  * Outline (grafila) with big dots.

  * Little dot above mint mark and master mint's mark, the two in horizontal (Ov.).

Rv.- [...]M·REX [...] ; Full cross with lions and castles .
